Weil’s Final Four is finally here! Our Bankruptcy March Madness certainly isn’t producing the same shocking upsets the NCAA Tournament is seeing this year, but the Selection Panel still watched in suspense as most of the Elite Eight matchups were decided by the last few votes. Our own Cinderella story came to an end in the West, where Judge Markell’s clever Veal footnote lost out to his sarcasm in Spickelmeir. Reese showed the staying power of Hogan’s Heroes yet again in the Northeast, ending Leslie Controls’ shot at the championship. In the Midwest bracket, Levit gave first-seeded Grydzuk a run for its money, losing by just a single vote. And in our South Beach showdown, Jerk Machine – the clear favorite to win the championship – sent home Judith Herskowitz in the round’s only runaway victory.
No one will win Warren Buffett’s billion dollar challenge this year, but your bankruptcy bracket might not be busted yet! Cast your votes for our championship teams by noon on Friday, March 28th.
