Weil Named “Global Restructuring Law Firm of the Year” at Turnaround Atlas Awards 2026
Weil has been named “Global Restructuring Law Firm of the Year” at the Turnaround Atlas Awards 2026.
The Firm also was recognized with a “Winner Circle Trophy” in the “Cross-Border Turnaround of the Year – Mid-Market” category for advising Fossil Group in its innovative, Weil-designed “Stapled Exchange” restructuring.
Additionally, Weil received trophies for:
- “Recapitalization Deal of the Year” for advising Vialto Partners in its $1.7 billion recapitalization;
- “Corporate Restructuring of the Year – Large” for guiding Avon Products, Inc. in its chapter 11; and
- “Cross-Border Distressed M&A Deal of the Year – Mid-Market” for advising Glencore Canada Corporation (a subsidiary of Glencore plc) and certain of its affiliates on its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. and its debtor-in-possession financing.
The Turnaround Atlas Awards, held by Global M&A Network, honor “the best value-creating transactions, outstanding firms, professionals and leaders from the global restructuring, insolvency, and distressed investing communities.”
